Harper's Bazaar Arabia...

Iv found these images online from Harper's Bazaar Arabia featuring Zoe Saldana. All i can say really is wow. The neutral colours are amazing and so in keeping with the arabian culture, sand, sun and desert heat.

 Effortless Beauty.
Love these shoes.

This last outfit is definately my favourite. The brocade design is really in season and although the pattern is fussy, the overall look is really sleek. It helps to have a fantastic figure to carry it off though.

London calling...

I thought I would do a little photo essay of my weekend in London with my family. We had a really lovely day visiting Stamford Bridge to have our picture taken with the Champions League and FA cup trophies. People often think we are mad, but we are lifelong Chelsea fans and Season ticket holders. Football, fashion, food and photography are pretty much my life. Can't believe I can be summed up in 4 words!
These are just a few images taken on my run. I was mad enough to run a half marathon before a day walking around London but the weather was gorgeous so it made up for it.

 T-shirt - Topshop - £16
Jacket - Miss Selfridge - £50

I have had two recent new purchases, this gorgeous black leather jacket from Miss Selfridge. I have been looking for a faux leather jacket for about 2 years but this one is perfect, you wouldn't actually know that it is a cheap fake. I also bought the grey t-shirt in Topshop.
Amazing patisserie. I made a huge mess in the car on the way home with a palmier biscuit, well worth it though.
As a family, our favourite food is Lebanese, so heres a few pictures from during our meal.

Some boring football pictures to finish on, unless you appreciate the sport!

So anyway, there is my weekend in pictures.

DIY - Cushion cover...

For quite a while I have wanted to try out a sewing machine so when my next door neighbour said we could borrow hers to practice on, I decided to make something really easy to start with. Iv just moved to a lovely new house at uni so have made a cushion cover for my room. I absolutely love it.

Its not perfect but overall I am really proud of myself. I think the pattern is gorgeous, a bit vintage shabby chic. I might even use the left over material to make a bit of bunting or something, not sure yet.

Im not going to do a tutorial on how to make this as you will probably all know how to as I am a complete beginner. But anyway I am well on the way to buying my own sewing machine.

The stud debut...

Here is what I wore for a few drinks with some friends the other night. I used the event to debut my lovely studded pumps from the boyfriend. My outfit is actually pretty plain and simple but after a long day at work I just wanted to wear something comfy.
T-shirt - Topshop
Jeans - Topshop

To be honest I think the studded pumps give the outfit a bit of edge and they make a simple outfit so much better.
I wore them for a good few hours and they are honestly the comfiest shoes. I have quite wide feet and find some pumps really narrow and painful to wear for long periods of time but these were a dream. I would love to get a nude pair. My next quest is a studded bag... preferably the Alexander Wang number here, dream!

leather biker boots...

I am obsessed with shoes, and especially boots. These bad boys are my latest purchase. I saw that Love Clothing were having a half price sale on all footwear and fell in love with these. They are from Blink and are real leather, which smells gorgeous. I think they were a bit of a bargain, originally £80 but I only paid £40.

Another thing I was really impressed with was how quick they were delivered, literally next day and it was free as I spent over £30 i think it was. Im not great at waiting for online shopping to arrive, because I just want to have it so this website really was perfect.

I think this will be my first of many purchases... Check it out because they are always doing discounts and offers.

They are really shiny at the moment but I can't wait for them to get a bit more scuffed up.

I think they will look great with a summery dress and a denim jacket or jeans and a t-shirt. I will do an outfit post with them soon.

I just want to say sorry for my lack of posts recently, work has just been tiring me out and I seem to have no time to blog, but I will try harder. Thank you also to all my new followers :)

Wrangler Australia Ad Campaign Spring 2013

Here is the new ad campaign for Wrangler Australia Spring 2013. Its shot by Jason Lee Parry and features model Emily Jean Bester alongside Vinnie Woolston. I love the carefree summer love feeling in the shots. Really gorgeous.

It would be unfair for a couple to be this good looking.

I love the edgy yet simplistic vibe within this shoot. Really want to get myself a pair of Wrangler jeans now.

Happy holidays...

I haven't posted in a few days as I took two days off from work and went to spend a lovely few days with my boyfriend. I hadn't really seen him in 5 weeks and so it was really nice not only to take some time off work but to chill out in the sun with him. I was spoilt rotten for my whole stay so I thought I would share a few snaps from my weekend.

I was treated to these gorgeous studded pumps, a lovely surprise because when I went to buy some myself they were sold out. I think they will really add some oomph to any outfit.
We ate amazing food and drank lots of wine. This was a starter we made, stuffed mushrooms with sun dried tomatoes, parma ham, cherry tomatoes and cheese. Very yummy. Will made cajun pork steaks with homemade chips for main course, but I forgot to take a picture.
For dessert I made a New York style cheesecake. Oh my god it was sooo good. I might actually do a recipe post on how to make this because it was so easy yet so so yum! Actually was a heart attack on a plate.
Being taught how to juggle - I'm still rubbish!

Lots of sunny weather, beautiful views and ice cold Rekorderlig in the garden. A pretty good holiday!

Ombre bleached hair...

So having never dyed my hair before, in May i took the plunge and had a little bit of bleach put through the ends of my hair at the salon. And I loved it. However after a recent hair cut, most of the bleach got cut out. I really couldn't afford to get it done again at the salon so my lovely best friend did it for me at home. I just bought a home bleaching kit and left her too it. Here are the results...

I really hate the idea of just having a block line around my head and she's done a perfect job of almost fading it in from top to bottom.

I am definitely a little bit in love with my new hair :)
