leather biker boots...

I am obsessed with shoes, and especially boots. These bad boys are my latest purchase. I saw that Love Clothing were having a half price sale on all footwear and fell in love with these. They are from Blink and are real leather, which smells gorgeous. I think they were a bit of a bargain, originally £80 but I only paid £40.

Another thing I was really impressed with was how quick they were delivered, literally next day and it was free as I spent over £30 i think it was. Im not great at waiting for online shopping to arrive, because I just want to have it so this website really was perfect.

I think this will be my first of many purchases... Check it out because they are always doing discounts and offers.

They are really shiny at the moment but I can't wait for them to get a bit more scuffed up.

I think they will look great with a summery dress and a denim jacket or jeans and a t-shirt. I will do an outfit post with them soon.

I just want to say sorry for my lack of posts recently, work has just been tiring me out and I seem to have no time to blog, but I will try harder. Thank you also to all my new followers :)

Happy holidays...

I haven't posted in a few days as I took two days off from work and went to spend a lovely few days with my boyfriend. I hadn't really seen him in 5 weeks and so it was really nice not only to take some time off work but to chill out in the sun with him. I was spoilt rotten for my whole stay so I thought I would share a few snaps from my weekend.

I was treated to these gorgeous studded pumps, a lovely surprise because when I went to buy some myself they were sold out. I think they will really add some oomph to any outfit.
We ate amazing food and drank lots of wine. This was a starter we made, stuffed mushrooms with sun dried tomatoes, parma ham, cherry tomatoes and cheese. Very yummy. Will made cajun pork steaks with homemade chips for main course, but I forgot to take a picture.
For dessert I made a New York style cheesecake. Oh my god it was sooo good. I might actually do a recipe post on how to make this because it was so easy yet so so yum! Actually was a heart attack on a plate.
Being taught how to juggle - I'm still rubbish!

Lots of sunny weather, beautiful views and ice cold Rekorderlig in the garden. A pretty good holiday!

in to the tribe...

I really love all of the tribal prints at the moment. The patterns and colours are really striking and they really draw you in to an outfit. In British Vogue May 2012, Mario Testino shot an amazing editorial which I love. Although based on nomadic prints, fringing and embroideries it feels very tribal.

The images themselves are just stunning, the colours work really well against the dramatic backdrops which are in muted colours so your eyes are always drawn to the model and the clothing. The styling by Lucinda Chambers is incredible. With so much going on within the image it would be easy for the looks to feel overwhelming but they really don't, the model looks like a work of art.

I love these shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti!!

Today I wore a tribal inspired outfit. The shoes are one of my favourite pairs, I had been looking for a pair of moccasins for about a year and found these in River Island in the sale for £15. They were the last pair and they were in my size so it had to be fate. The necklace is from primark and on a leather style cord, I think its quite unusual and sits really nicely. The top is an aztec print from Topshop and the skirt is H'n'M. Overall a bit of a bargain outfit.
