leather biker boots...

I am obsessed with shoes, and especially boots. These bad boys are my latest purchase. I saw that Love Clothing were having a half price sale on all footwear and fell in love with these. They are from Blink and are real leather, which smells gorgeous. I think they were a bit of a bargain, originally £80 but I only paid £40.

Another thing I was really impressed with was how quick they were delivered, literally next day and it was free as I spent over £30 i think it was. Im not great at waiting for online shopping to arrive, because I just want to have it so this website really was perfect.

I think this will be my first of many purchases... Check it out because they are always doing discounts and offers.

They are really shiny at the moment but I can't wait for them to get a bit more scuffed up.

I think they will look great with a summery dress and a denim jacket or jeans and a t-shirt. I will do an outfit post with them soon.

I just want to say sorry for my lack of posts recently, work has just been tiring me out and I seem to have no time to blog, but I will try harder. Thank you also to all my new followers :)

Summer fun...

So originally i was going to do my first make up blog but i quite liked my outfit and hair today too. so heres a little look at what I wore and I will follow with the beauty products and makeup that i use maybe tomorrow.

I also have a hate of naked toe nails. So my latest shade is this deep purple from No7 at Boots. They always do these £5 off vouchers and i tend to stock up as they last forever.
My truly battered but favourite summer sandals, purely for comfort. They are really old and from Forever 21 before it made it across from the US.
I love the pattern on these jeans so much and they are so comfortable. River Island jeans fit my shape perfectly as well so its wins all round really.

And here is my make-up look for the day... I will write about this in my next blog :)

all things vintage

Recently I went to a vintage fair in Southampton. I literally just popped along to see what it was all about really and managed to unintentionally spend over £30! A small mooch around in my lunch break turned into a 2 hour shop-a-thon.

Founded in 2005 by Judy Berger, The affordable Vintage fair travels around the country allowing dozens of traders in each town and city to set up shop and sell their vintage wears at an affordable price. Its a combination that really works.

I wasn't really sure what to expect but what ever expectations I had before, it exceeded them. The room was large and airy and was almost laid out like individual boutique shops. I started at the front and just worked my way round in a circle, through the jewellery, clothing, home wear and general bric-a-brac.

Vintage sizes tend to come up a little snug so trying on is essential and an upstairs room had been turned into a dressing room with a mirror and chairs etc. I did not purchase any clothing on this occasion, I did however splurge on jewellery, a scarf, dove hooks to hang all of my new jewellery from and a gorgeous leather clutch bag. All in all a very successful first trip to a vintage fair and one which I am very keen to repeat next time 'Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair' comes to town.

Scarf - £3
Jewellery/Keys - 50p-£3
Key on a Chain
Leather Clutch bag - £8
Dove Hooks - £2.50
